Geraint Howell Thomas (Cardiff, 25 de mayo de 1986) es un deportista británico que compitió en ciclismo, en la modalidad de ruta. Anteriormente, competía en la modalidad de pista. Ganó la clasificación general del Tour de Francia 2018.
Participó en tres Juegos Olímpicos de Verano, en los años 2008 y 2016, obteniendo en total dos medallas de oro, ambas en la prueba de persecución por equipos (en Pekín 2008 junto con Edward Clancy, Paul Manning y Bradley Wiggins y en Londres 2012 con Edward Clancy, Steven Burke y Peter Kennaugh), y el noveno lugar en Río de Janeiro 2016, en la prueba de contrarreloj (ciclismo en carretera).
Ganó cinco medallas en el Campeonato Mundial de Ciclismo en Pista entre los años 2006 y 2012, y una medalla de oro en el Campeonato Europeo de Ciclismo en Pista de 2011.
En carretera se coronó campeón del Tour de Francia 2018, ganando además dos etapas; aparte de otra victoria de etapa en el Tour de 2017. También obtuvo dos medallas de bronce en el Campeonato Mundial de Ciclismo en Ruta, en los años 2013 y 2017, ambas en la prueba de contrarreloj por equipos.
Fue nombrado miembro de la Orden del Imperio Británico (MBE) en el año 2008 por sus éxitos deportivos.
